Hello fellow Preset Makers!
Just thought I'd announce this, in case some of you all haven't read the January winner thread.
So, you all know we currently have fone judge grading the presets for the contests. If you haven't already, go ahead and give the three new guys a round of applause!

Now, as for other updates concerning anyone who is interested in joining in future preset contests....
It has come to our attention that all of you creative preset makers deserve more than just bragging rights and a pat on the back. So after some discussion, we've decided to start handing out prizes to each First Place winner of every monthly contest.
The prizes will include the winners choice of....
45 DeviantART points!
If this is chosen by the winner, the winner will recieve 45 deviantART points. Points are a sort of currency on deviantART; they are used to commission artists, buy llama badges, and if build up enough, even used to buy products from the website!
OR
ONE drawing of the Winners choice by one of our talented judges!
The judges have offered to present the winner with a fully drawn and colored artwork piece representing a character or scene of the Winner's choice.
Wait! There's more!
Along with the prize stated above, the first place winner will also be put into a finalist stage for a much larger contest held at the end of the year. This contest will have the first place winner of every month as its entries, and will, of course, be looked upon by the preset judges. Unlike the monthly contests, this one will distribute prizes to First, Second, and Third place.
The prizes include...
First place:
100 DeviantART points
TWO drawings of the Winners choice by one(or more) of our talented judges!
A Forum Award dubbing said Winner as the Best Preset Maker of 2012
Second place:
50 DeviantART points
ONE drawing of the Winners choice by one of our talented judges!
Third place:
25 DeviantART points and/or one drawing of the winners choice by one of our judges
An important note: If the winner does not have a DeviantART account, they will automatically be rewarded with the drawing.
Please keep in mind that current prizes for the Preset Contest Finale may change with time!
So now you guys have something more to aim for! Get cracking on those presets
